You should have solid physics and math background.
You should be interested in performing experiments, building simple apparatus, and writing matlab codes.
You should plan on doing research part-time in the Spring 2008 (contact me as soon as possible) and if
all goes well, you will be paid full-time stipends the following summer.
One graduate research assistant postion
is open immediately (July 2007). The candidate should have a M.S. in physics, engineering,
or physical chemistry with sufficient experience in experimental fluid mechanics, microfluidics, rheology,
biofluids, or a related area.
The student is expected to perform both experimental and theoretical work and interact with other graudate and undergraudate
students in the soft matter lab. If interested, please email me your
cv and research statement.
One postdoctoral postion will possibly
be open starting September 2007. The candidate should have a Ph.D in physics, engineering,
or physical chemistry who have experience in experimental fluid mechanics, rheology, microfluidics,
biofluids, or a related area.
The postdoc is expected to interact with graudate and undergraudate
