Standard processes are certainly worthwhile, but while conforming to all steps is necessary for a high appraisal scores, neither is a good predictor of successful execution. There is mounting evidence that programs fail when too much emphasis is placed on easily measurable enabling steps instead of the more difficult to measurable and less easily performed steps directly associated with success. What are the most critical steps in some of our most important processes? How can you discover them on your own for your project? Answers to these questions will be addressed by Bill Schoening.
No reservations required, but please contact Marcos Chu, Midwest Gateway INCOSE Interim Programs Chair at marcos.chu@incose.org if you plan to attend for a lunch count and badging for non-Boeing attendees. If you will be outside the immediate meeting area and desire to participate remotely, please ask for teleconference information.
